Teatime has a big hit on its hands with Trivia Royale, a mobile game in which 1,000 players compete against each other in a last-person standing trivia face-off. Gamers have downloaded the free-to-play title more than 2 million times since June 17, and it has been No. 1 in the iOS App Store for a few days.

Thor Fridriksson, CEO and co-founder of Teatime, is an Internet entrepreneur. He also founded Plain Vanilla Games, that created the first multi-platform and real-time social trivia engine. In 2013 they launched the hit social trivia game, QuizUp. Thor holds a BS degree from the Reykjavik University and an MBA from the University of Oxford.
Co-founder and COO of Teatime, Gunnar is a serial tech entrepreneur with a solid track record in building thoughtful teams that deliver great products. He has a passion for the intersection of product development, beautiful design, and data-driven decision making. Gunnar has built numerous companies, including Vaktarinn (acquired by Keldan), CLARA (acquired by Jive) and Plain Vanilla.
Johann Thorvaldur Bergthorsson
CTO and co-founder of Teatime, Johann Thorvaldur Bergthorsson has a B.Sc in Mathematics from the University of Iceland. He has worked in the gaming industry since graduation in 2009 when he founded the mobile gaming studio Dexoris. Jóhann also did contract work in the Icelandic gaming industry (Gogogic and MindGames) until he joined Plain Vanilla Games in 2012, where he was the CTO.
CFO and co-founder of Teatime, Ymir Finnbogason has a Masters degree in international accounting and financial management from City University of London, Cass Business School with an undergraduate degree in business management from Reykjavik University. He was responsible for financial management and legal matters at Plain Vanilla Games. Before that, Ymir spent three years at Deloitte.
